This series relates to school buildings. Included are handbooks, manuals, and conference proceedings on planning better school facilities, specifications for rural schools, a report on the estimated costs to modernize buildings by city and county, a manual on construction requirements, handbooks for mobile or relocatable classroom units, a report on the building and site enumeration inventory with the Alabama Education Study Commission, plans and specifications for approved toilets in schools, and other materials. The series documents the department's function of inventorying, studying, and supporting public school buildings in the state.
